Event check-in for Friday arrivals. Group Site is #112. Pick up your name tag and license plate.

4:00 PM - 9:00 PM T-shirt and coffee mug sales - At Connie's site (#101).
4:00 PM - 10:00 PM Poker run begins - Maps and rules will be provided in the information packet given out at the group site (#112), or at the beginning of the Saturday rides. This is not a speed event, rather solving a puzzle, riding the trails within Ft. Stevens and bringing back one sealed envelope (containing a card) from each of five spots. The best hand of cards wins. Do not open the envelopes, but write your name on them. The envelopes will be opened at the group site Sunday morning by Connie McAyeal. At that time the winners will be announced. There will be more than one winner and more than one prize. The best hand has the first choice of prizes and it goes down from there. All family members are encouraged to participate. Entries must be turned in by 10:30 AM Sunday, in the group campsite (#112). Winners must be present to win and will be announced starting at 11:00 AM.
8:00 PM - 10:00 PM Campfire and Marshmellows - At the group site (#112). Bring instruments, refreshments, games, stories to tell etc. Marshmellows will be provided, but please B.Y.O.S. (bring your own stick)

Slow Pokey Run For Breakfast. Meet at the Group site (#112) Saturday morning at 7:00 a.m. for breakfast runs to local restaurants: Arnie's, Serendipity Caffe and Doogers Seafood & Grill.

9:30 AM - 10:00 AM Check-in for Saturday arrivals at Battery Russell.
Riders begin gathering for photo shoot, also at Battery Russell.

10:00 AM - 10:15 AM Photo shoot preparation - Be a part of history in this huge assembly of recumbents. See last year's photo. (Please try to be there for this great event)

Photo shoot will take place at 10:15AM SHARP! Be there or be wedgied!! Note: The photo shoot occurs one hour earlier this year to leave more time for rides.

10:15 AM - 10:45 AM
Various rides assemble at Battery Russell: Note: All rides are non-supported, i.e. no food or water is provided en route and no SAG wagon will be present. Therefore, every rider should be prepared with water, food, tools a patch kit, etc. Also, even though we will try to ride as a group (because it's a lot more fun that way!), these are technically 'non-group' rides.
  Straight Shot to Seaside, approx. 34 miles round trip - Follows 101 to Seaside. Stop in Seaside for lunch then return. Follow the Orange Triangles.

Lewis and Clark Route to Seaside, approx. 50 Miles round trip - Inland route following the Fort Clatsop & the Lewis and Clark road. Stop in Seaside for lunch at then return. Follow the Blue Squares.

Historic Fort Clatsop History, 16 miles round trip- Follow the Lewis and Clark route map to the newly rebuilt Fort Clatsop and spend time there touring the National Monument. Bring your own lunch (or you can order box lunches at Arnie's or Serendipity Caffe restaurants in Warrenton). Assigned to: Laural and Hardy Bob
Waterfall Wanderer, apx. 40 miles round trip - New for 2007: This ride heads inland past Young's River Falls and then completes a circuit of Youngs Bay and ends up in Astoria for a late lunch. Assigned to: Jeff Wills
Stay together ride, 10 miles round trip -   New for 2007: For those who requested a shorter and "stay together" group ride: 10 mile with lunch stop. (we'll stop every so often and let slower riders catch up) RAIN CANCELS THIS RIDE! Assigned to: Connie McAyeal

10:45 AM Rides begin
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Potluck - Bring something to share (e.g. main course, salad, bread, side dish, desert, drink, etc.) and join in this fun event. Please remember that we are a diverse group including both vegetarians and omnivores.

Illuminated Bicycle Parade begins to assemble - An unbelievable parade of recumbents looking like the Electric parade at Disneyland, bike bells, horns, and screams of delight as we weave our way through the campsite loops in Ft. Stevens. Join in the fun of this ride, decorated or not.

Ride begins at Battery Russell. This ride will be very informal with no assigned leader.

Lunch in Hammond Ride (restaurant will be the Buoy 9; less than five miles round trip.) Note: Check out time is 1:00 PM. If you are planning on joining this ride, and do not have reservations for Sun. evening, please take down camp and check out before meeting at Battery Russell.

The breakfast and lunch rides are no host.
There is a great potluck dinner Saturday evening at 6:00 PM.

Remember this is Oregon and the coast. It can be clear blue skies and warm... It can be rainy and cold... (And of course everything in between or BOTH at the same time!)
